Tony gave me an estimate for finish grading for a new pole barn I had built. The estimate was for $3000 for finish grading and sodding. I gave him a check for $1500 with the balance due when sodding was complete. Never heard from him again. I called and left voice mails but he has failed to respond. I will likely have to take him to small claims court to get my money back.
At first this person seemed on par but as project progressed became increasingly inconsistent. Sprinkler system that was installed has already started leaking and needed to have over $600 in repairs. The sod was not measured correctly and only covered 1/3rd of the lawn. Repeat phone calls and texts go unanswered . This was $7000 job that was paid in full and now this person has ghosted us.
