They helped me alter and fit my wedding dress super last minute and were so sweet. Not only did I get my dress on time, but I was also given a very thoughtful gift. My husband happened to walk in for alterations to his suit while I was in my dress. They helped keep my dress a surprise and his suit was perfect and ready on time as well. That was almost 9 years ago now and I still look back on my experience there fondly. Love this shop!
i rarely find myself needn' to tailor my apparel, but then I thought to myself "treat yo self mama!" And mamas tailoring was just the place to lend a stitch In a sitch!! i found myself in somerville on a professional business trip, and the highly trained associates there fixed me up with a real nice special: tailored pants AND free room and board, AND whatever food was in the warehouse cabinets!! It was right on the edge of the big city, yet the neighborhood was still so safe! All the times I visted the shop the same silver key was on the porch, no one stole it!! i felt like such a city girl, and you can too! so if your lookin for just the right place to fit your garment needs, choose mamas!!
