Big Blue Bay is a popular local pool offering a well-priced snack bar with tasty food. While the staff can be a bit rude, the pool is well-maintained with helpful lifeguards and caters to families, with designated times for young children and seniors. Overall, it provides a great swimming experience at an affordable price.
We have gone several times and it’s just easy. They allow you to bring in toys for the kids and snacks. My 12 & 6 yo enjoy it every time, never wanna leave and want to go everyday we’ve been here!The workers and guards are kind and they even doctored up my youngest when he got a scrape.
Great experience! The price was great for a pool. The right amount of lifeguards for the size of pool. The zero entrance was good for little kids. There are also times where the pool is only for kids under 8 and seniors. We had the pool to ourselves at that time.
This is a really fun place for the kids. They love the variation in the pools and there is something for every age and skill. The seating areas are plentiful and their snack bar is cool and priced fairly. I was also extremely impressed with the number of life guards. I had to step away and take a call for a quick two minutes and I felt comfortable with the kids being protected. I highly recommend this place. Only giving four stars because two of the very large shade umbrellas aren't working. We were here on 90+ degree days.
