My personal vet in Minot could not see my cat when she started showing that she was sick. I called 5 vet offices and even though I wasn't a client, Rugby got my cat in 3 hours after I called. Once we got there, we were taken to an exam room almost immediately! They took blood and it showed that her kidney values were high! Dr Gullickson recommended that we run more tests to get a better understanding of what was going on with my girl. After those tests, she recommended that I take her to Fargo for 24 hour support if I wanted a good outcome for my cat. I took my girl home Wednesday to see if I could get her to eat before I made the choice to take her to Fargo(based on her levels, I was taking her no matter what). The next morning I did just that as she still was not eating. They sent all of her tests and results to Fargo so they would have them when we got there. I got a message from Dr. Gullickson this morning asking how my girl was and if she was admitted in Fargo, and she was. I truly believe that if I hadn't gone to Rugby, my girl would not be on the road to recovery(however that may turn out)and possibly coming home tomorrow! I owe so much to this vet clinic and I am beyond grateful that they got her in! The fact that Dr. Gullickson reached out to check on my girl speaks volumes about her and her love for her patients, even though we weren't the day before.
