Turf Tamers established roots in 1999, while owner-operator Mike Svaleson attended middle school in Fargo, ND. The company began with one push mower, a weed eater, and a dolly cart for hauling clippings. Since 2006, Turf Tamers has expanded into a full service lawn care, landscaping and snow removal company. In 2011, Svaleson purchased H20 Sprinkler Systems and became a full service company. Turf Tamers has also expanded in to dirt work, grading, and landscape design. When asked about his successful business, Svaleson states, “I love my job because I get to be outside every day and work hard to improve every one of my customer’s properties.
