About Crunch Fitness - Fargo
Crunch Fitness offers a welcoming environment with a focus on inclusivity, where every BODY can find a workout that suits their needs. The sauna is a highlight, and free childcare for specific hours during the day is a wonderful option that appeals to families. The customer service has been noted as exceptional, with friendly staff members like Blayke prioritizing assistance for everyone. However, cleanliness has become a significant concern, as many reviews mention that the gym, including machines and locker rooms, is often dirty, especially during peak hours. While recent feedback indicates that the cleaning staff has improved the cleanliness of the locker rooms, some machines still need more frequent maintenance, particularly regarding their slide bars. Although the facility itself is bright and open, some members express frustration with the lack of follow-through on services promised, such as body scans and membership perks. The gym features free weights, machines, tanning, massage, and interesting fitness classes that many have yet to try. The staff at the front desk are friendly, but they often do the bare minimum, and the effectiveness of personal trainers, like Lara, has been questioned during busy times. Overall, Crunch Fitness has potential but needs to address cleanliness and service issues to enhance the member experience while continuing to provide family-friendly options.
Since I joined the Gym shortly after it first opened, the all around cleanliness of the gym has declined dramatically. The machines and locker rooms are always filthy now, and with the amount of staff on normal weeknights after 5pm, there is really no excuse for the place being so dirty, or not being deep cleaned when they are slow/closed. Same with staff regularly going around and making sure paper towels and sanitizer are stocked. My other issue is never getting the body scan I should have got when I got offered my workout with a trainer because the scan machine was broken. I asked about it later on, and instead of just giving me the scan I was unable to do when I first started with the gym, they tried to get me to pay for training sessions. Which was not at all what I was asking for.
I enjoy the space, it is very bright and open, there are two things that bother me. One, which really does bother a lot of people, it is dirty, the locker rooms are awful and the floor has paper towels on the floor because the garbages are full and they often don’t fill the paper towels either. Two, they don’t follow through very much, it started out just not getting my free shirt with my membership, which isn’t a huge deal but I have asked questions as well and they just keep having me wait in hopes I forget. The people in the front are nice, but do the bare minimum, they keep the front clean and welcoming but thats it. Also, personal trainers there are somewhat of a joke, especially if you plan on doing it any time between 3 pm and 8 pm.
love this gym!!! highly recomment it!!
