I needed a rush order for a hand sewn box beam before leaving town and called Whole Log Reclaimed. I spoke with Jim and Loy to discuss my needs and was so happy to hear they could have my order completed by the end of the week. To my surprise Loy called me the next day and said it was ready!! Breathtaking is the only word I could use to describe the most unique and beautiful mantle and shelves they made for me. Every visitor to my home comments about the detail craftsmanship.
Not a grand experience but in the end the installer prevailed to correct the situation. I would recommend being crystal clear on your need/looks. I would also only work with Jim the owner - not ever a general employee - he knows his wood and how it should be. The employee may not.
