Gave Sam a call to check on our HVAC unit due to it not functioning properly. Sam came out on a holiday weekend, diagnosed the issue(s) and had a new unit installed in just a matter of days in the middle of July. The care for my little rat terrier! I adopted him from the Humane Society when he was 5.5 years of age. I took him to Harmony Heights Animal Hospital in Yadkinville, NC. I am so pleased with the care I received for my furry baby! Dr. Sechrist is the current Veterinarian and owner of Harmony Heights. He and his staff are so loving and compassionate. Dr. Sechrist treats all the animals just like real patients. I took my little dog to Harmony Heights until he was 13.5 years of age, in which he became very sick and had to be euthanized. Dr. Sechrist and his staff helped us through this tough process as well. When I'm ready to have another furry family member, I will definitely take my furry baby to Dr. Sechrist for all of the future care that will be required. Dr. Sechrist and his staff even sent us a sympathy card! They were all like family to us. May GOD bless Dr. Sechrist and his staff!

Fast, efficient, friendly but most importantly they were trustworthy and affordable. Another business said we needed a completely new unit and quoted an astronomical price. We decided to get a second opinion and called Wicker Heating and Electrical. He said not only could it be fixed, but there was plenty of life left in the unit. His team had it fixed in a short amount of time for a fraction of what other businesses wanted. Very knowledgeable and efficient. The best around!

Dr. Taylor is the absolute best. She is thorough, efficient , knowledgeable and kind. A true master of her craft. She found a failed root canal that two other dentist had missed, the tooth had been infected for over a year. She pulled the tooth and I felt nothing. I never had to take more than ibuprofen and healed beautifully. I drove two hours to see her and I will never again go to any dentist but her !

Our electricity went out in our garage, where we have it enclosed with a/c for our cats. Inside dog no friend to cats. Anyways, I called 4 places and had to leave messages with them to please call me back. Torrey was my 5th call.I was pkeasantly surprised he answered his phone and even more thankful he was available to help. Well, actually he was on another job and offered to help after that job! His empathy surpassed anything I was expecting. Torrey showed up, fixed the problem and was very professional. Several years ago, Patrick was with another company and managed the entire rewiring of my 1930s house. Everything about it was excellent. The price was extremely reasonable. He walked me through everything and was really focused on things being done right. Great communication and got things done quickly and when he said he would. I was so pleased that I added several other smaller things. Recently, I had to change my water heater from gas to electric. I knew he was the guy I wanted to handle it and I was once again 100% pleased. I would absolutely recommend Amplified Electric.

We called them because our well stopped pumping on a Saturday evening, and our neighbors recommended these guys to us. So their office was unfortunately already closed, but their voice message told us we could make an appointment online. Unfortunately, the earliest appointment wasn't until Monday afternoon, but I went ahead and grabbed it.
Fortunately, they called us on Sunday and said they would send someone out early Monday morning instead, since we had no water. So they showed up the next morning and confirmed the submerged pump was not communicating back to them, and they had a team out that afternoon to replace it.
Then about a week and a half later, on a Friday evening, it stopped working again. So my husband tried fiddling with a few things and lo and behold it started working again.
Then the following Friday morning, it stopped again! So I tried fiddling with it like my husband had, but with no luck. So I called these guys up and told them we had no water again, and the operator said she'd let the team know. But then it just randomly started working again before the plumber called back, so I told them it was working again but they decided to come out and take a look anyway to try to figure out why it was randomly cutting off and coming back on again. Well, apparently the pressure switch thing was shorting out. So they replaced that and said they probably wouldn't even charge us for it! So relieved, because replacing the submersible pump was already approx. $1k, so I was starting to get a bit stressed about our budget.
So here we are heading into another weekend, and so far so good. Hopefully no more last-minute emergency issues as the weekend approaches, but I think we're finally good, now ?.
As the entire country shut down last winter our remodel got underway. We were well planned, met with Wishon Carter officials [Ted Baity and Randy Trinkle were the BEST!], and we had scheduled a winter 2020 remodel. We made the decision to live in our home during this project and moved into a room above our garage space. We laughed and welcomed the neighborhood port-a-potty to our driveway and the journey began.COVID-19 shut the country down about the time our demo was completed. The project manager, Randy Trinkle kept us informed of deliveries, product delays, etc. His daily and weekly communication was superior to anything we had ever experienced. The quality of craftsmanship was evident as the project continued and when we had a question, concern or an alternate idea, it was met with professionalism and was quickly addressed.Yes, a 4-month remodel amidst the global pandemic resulted in a 10-month remodel due to COVID but this was not because of the builder. During those10 months we used a makeshift kitchen that included a tabletop cooktop and a dorm style refrigerator. We found the simplicity of the one room apartment took us back to our college days and we were reminded of how we really didn't need many of our material itemsA favorite piece of the remodel was access to a design professional they connected us with. We contracted with Leigh Ann Raines, owner of Chic by Design. She polished our ideas and guided us through those days of the pandemic unknown and when the noise, dust and delays were a little too much, she always had the right comment and decisions to make. She helped me to make those selections on color, design and style that might have been overwhelming if we had made them alone. Her expertise and vision became ours and we were so pleased at how beautiful our home turned out.Our only regret was that after we moved back downstairs and the last box in the garage was unpacked we thought of hosting an open house for the Wishon Carter staff, sub-contractors, and Chic by Design owner, Leigh Ann Raines, but we were halted because of the pandemic. It is a shame they cannot see their finished work and allow us to beam with pride in our home and the new look thy gave us.Wishon Carter Builders were timely, fairly priced, and best of all, the work was of the highest quality. Had to put my baby "Master" down and I've never had an animal cremated before. This was an experience. My wife has used Harmony Heights for years and has speaks highly of them. I have grown to love them myself. They are very sweet and actually seem like they care. I believe the ladies name is Debbie that I always talk to on the phone, she works upfront.... HEART OF GOLD!
Ordered a double plant for a funeral by calling in the order. They did an outstanding job. It was beautiful. Sometimes you don't know what you will get by calling in an order, but I would feel comfortable ordering from them again. Well done.

TLDR: high quality affordable lumber with great service.The place to get lumber in Yadkinville. Call ahead or visit to see their inventory. The hours are listed online. I like how they are open on Saturday if only briefly. We have stopped here numerous times and always have a great experience. We are greeted upon arrival at their office and assisted in finding lumber. During our most recent visit I called in advance to make sure they had what we were looking for in stock. They did (as they usually do) and they informed us of the prices. Prices are very reasonable and are listed per linear foot. We stopped by to pick up lumber and fencing material. We were immediately assisted with finding what we needed, getting it cut, loaded into our truck, and checked out. We usually have help, but it's also well organized so it's not hard to find what you need. It's easiest just to ask for help. Overall, this is our top place to get lumber and recommend it to others!
