“Transou Plumbing came to the rescue on January 1st — New Year’s Day! I couldn’t believe they were working on a holiday, but it was perfect timing since I was off work anyway. Super convenient and much appreciated.
We had raw sewage surfacing in the yard from a broken cast-iron sewer line to our septic tank. They showed up quickly, located the problem, dug it up, unclogged the line, repaired the broken section, and added a much-needed cleanout — all for a very reasonable price. The lady at the office was very nice and professional when she explained the pricing for both the repair and the full replacement options.
The plumber himself was awesome: respectful, wore shoe covers inside the house, and took the time to explain everything in detail — why the pipe broke, how the clog contributed, and what to watch for going forward.
While he was here, I mentioned that our dishwasher hadn’t been draining properly — in fact, we hadn’t even used it since 2023 because we thought it was broken. He immediately checked the garbage disposal, found the knockout plug was still sealed (the one that’s supposed to be removed for the dishwasher hose), punched it out, and fixed the issue on the spot. Super efficient — and now we have a working dishwasher again after years!
Everything is draining perfectly now — both the sewer line and the dishwasher — no more wet spots outside, and we have a cleanout for easier future maintenance. Outstanding service from start to finish by a great local company with decades of experience. Highly recommend! 100%“
