I'm so glad I found Oumy!! I quickly did a Google search for braiding services since I am new to NC & I am so happy I chose to come here and have found my salon!!! I was greeted warmly by the owner and she was very polite and professional. The salon is very clean and offers a friendly, welcoming environment for everybody.
The young woman that braided my hair was fast and listened to what I wanted. She worked fast and did high quality work. I got more than what I wanted, my expectations were exceeded!! Love love my boho braids!

This was the best experience I’ve ever had at an African braiding shop. They were very gentle with my hair the owner was very kind and attentive from the very moment I walked through the door. The atmosphere was amazing shop was beautiful and very clean. I absolutely recommend it was a 10 out of 10! I recorded my experience on TikTok @brokentoblessedco

Very professional. I scheduled an appointment and was seated within moments of entering the salon. Braids are affordable compared to what other salons offer. I had three women working on my hair at once. I received large knotless braids. I showed them a picture of the thickness. The women recommended that I go a little smaller than what I wanted because it would be less tension on my scalp and look better on me. I'm thankful the recommendation. The salon provides the hair, and 1-2 colors are included in the price. The price they quote does not include a hair wash, but they can provide it for an additional cost.
