I was very impressed with the level of support that the patrons of this funeral home provided to the family. They sang, they provided the soft piano music of comfort, they were just awesome! Unfortunately, I've been to many "wakes", including my mother's, and this experience was different, more personable. Most times there is a dissonance, an awkward disconnection with the grieving families. Sure, there were many grieving the lost of their love ones, but it was very consoling to see a funeral staff, do all they could to make the situation less burdensome.
