Kate is amazing. Her barber skills encompass both men’s cuts & women’s. As a woman with short hair it is not easy to find someone who is able to cut my hair. She intuitively knows how to cut my thick, unpredictably wavy hair so that it continues to look amazing as it grows out. I love the atmosphere, which has that friendly, unpretentious vibe that makes it easy to enjoy the banter, local word of mouth news & not stress that I’m being judged for my clothes, makeup, & lack of facial piercings. It is the genuine article, THE neighborhood barbershop.

Been going here for nearly 15 years, Kate has been my go to barber and delivers a consistently excellent haircut . The place has a great Mayberry vibe and is just a pleasant place to relax and get a great haircut. Tim , the owner runs a first class down-home shop and he's also top shelf with the shears .!!!

Tim, the owner, is my regular barber, but I use the Kate or Ben if he is busy or not in that day. I've had consistent good cuts and been very satisfied. It's a true barber shop where they have regular customers that know them and the conversation is always lively. Walk ins are their mainstay and they don't take credit cards. It has a definite throwback vibe.
