“We had a bad tile job in my brand new home. My builder was Southern Pines Homes who was not interested in making it right. I wrote a negative review here about Owens and I immediately got a response from the owner of the company who came out the next business day and put a crew on this to fix immediately. My original review was not glowing for Owens, but we have learned that it was the builder not communicating with his subcontractor. Rest assured, if you personally select Owens Flooring, you will get a quality product and white glove service. I posted new pictures so you can see the difference. “A great and reliable location! It goes without saying how reliable Kenny is at Custom Colors. He is always there and is on top of the whole operation. Not only does Kenny have unrelenting energy to give someone a cheerful greeting, but he jumps at the chance to help! He is that type of manager that makes you feel like your job is the most important one he is working on that day. Whether it's only preparing a gallon or a huge order, it's clear to me he is a consumate professional. But I also wanted to write a bit more about one employee who is an excellent asset for Custom Colors, Joel. On one occasion I was working on a job where I made a mistake on a client's kitchen wall color. Joel and his team hurriedly mixed a few gallons that matched almost perfectly. He suggested some alternative bases and pigments that were clutch in assisting me to remedy the error I had made at the client's residence and saved the day! Another time Joel counseled me on choosing a product for some cabinets and offered Benjamin Moore's Advance. It was incredible and held up beautifully. By outshining everything else, it gave me the edge I needed to impress the client. But this isn't unusual for Joel because he is constantly keeping up with new products from Benjamin Moore that are arriving soon. Joel appears to be quite literate about the product line because he has the name of a relevant item that I might be interested in right away. It’s also evident he's familiar with different paints and how they respond during application and hold up over time. I couldn't imagine Custom Colors being unaware of how fortunate they are to have Joel or Kenny. Joel's unique ability to problem solve "on his feet" and curate authentic connections with customers that help to build confidence in the Benjamin Moore brand is an invaluable skill and definitely noteworthy. If I owned this location, I would make certain these two gentlemen were frequently reminded of their worthiness and receive substantial appreciation and reward.Thanks for being there fellas!“
