First my son started then my daughter and I was right behind them. Great Cristian based karate dojo, each class strys and ends with a prayer. The whole dojo does great with kids of all ages, races and genders, it's like a family with everyone working together to make each other better. Stop by and check them out, very low priced for such a multiple award winning dojo.

ive been a member sonce the beginning and I can't imagine a better group of people to spend my time with. if you want to learn okinawan karate, and get in shape, come hang out with us!

This is a wonderful place to involve your kids, and the younger the better. We had all three of ours join this elite group, eventually earning black, brown and black belts, respectively. The school has a generous and safe facility, are very reasonably priced, family owned and operated, and are just all around good people. We are proud to be a part of this extended family!

From Cape Fear Isshin-Ryu Karate & After-school

Cape Fear Isshin-Ryu was formed in 2001 and through the power of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ we have continued to grow, starting an afterschool program in 2008. The purpose of Cape Fear Isshin-Ryu is to offer discipline by fostering mental and physical enhancement as well as encouraging character development. This is done by teaching Martial Arts, encouraging good behavior at our facility as well as at home and school, getting involved with each student. Martial arts can help with improvements in discipline, self control, self confidence, self esteem, coordination, fitness, and attitude. Our program stresses non-aggression and respect for self and others, and your child will have fun and make new friends in the process!
