“Repair on 10 yo $2900 GE Profile Refridgerator Freezer side by side. Tony replaced the motherboard to repair appliance that had stopped cooling. After the repair when power was applied the cooling fan in the freezer was touching the fan surround and making a humming noise, probably due to a 10 year old appliance plastic deforming over tiime, warming and then freezing during repair. Tony spent about another hour pulling the ice maker, the light panel, the back pannel, and attachements out to adjust and reinstall everything to eliminate the noise.
