My wife and I did our best to train our puppy Kepley (9 months old). For the most part, he didn’t listen to anything we said. He was pulling on walks, counter-surfing, jumping and chewing.
We were quite frustrated and decided to get professional help to properly train him. Neil at Seven Lakes Kennels to the rescue! After less than 30 days with our little guy, Neil transformed Kepley into the puppy we always wanted! He is well behaved, but is still the puppy we fell in love with. BEST decision we EVER made for our dog!! We added a crazy silver lab puppy to our family. Mind you, people warned me not to get a silver, but his little puppy eyes just stole my heart.
At 14 weeks he came to us with confidence and anxiety issues. At 5 months he was completely over the top with trying to dominate everything at home; but was the biggest scaredy cat outside the home.
Initially, Neil worked with me one on one to give pointers and advice. He advised that training will always have to start at home. After a few independent training sessions, and following up consistently at home, we saw significant improvements.... read full review

I'm not a frequent Google review writer, but every once and a while I have an experience with a business that makes me feel compelled to publicly acknowledge them. My husband and I have a cattle dog who will be 2 in October. She's an absolutely brilliant dog, but a breed that is known to be quite challenging to train. Despite our good intentions with training early on we admittedly found ourselves in a situation where we realized we had slowly let our pup take full control over our household. We were letting her call the shots and communicating to her that we fell below her in the hierarchy of our relationships with her. In our defense...she is very pervasive... read full review
