Not sure how anyone could rate this office below 5 stars. First time patient today, cost $ was half of what I expected and my cat is now eating for the first time in 3 days. Amazing experience.
I have had experiences at multiple vets over the years but Appalachian Animal Hospital is by far the best one we’ve taken our dogs to. Everyone is always so kind and clearly animal lovers-the front desk staff, the vet techs, the veterinarians, etc! Our dogs Nova and Hitch are both anxious especially about vet visits, but the staff have always been so patient with them, and make them feel very comfortable. Their tails are wagging by the time we leave, even after getting shots! I’ve also been able to call and ask questions, and discuss concerns, and they’ve always been very accessible and happy to help. The facility is also very clean. Definitely recommend them!
The staff is so friendly, kind, knowledgeable, and efficient. I called on a Monday morning looking for an appointment (since my primary vet didn't have an exotics vet in the office that week) after my rabbit began limping over the weekend. They were able to fit me in for a Tuesday drop-off appointment. I was nervous as it was the first time I was bringing my rabbit to this vet and because it was a drop off appointment. But, the tech who did the intake asked all of the right questions, which helped me feel confident in that they knew their stuff when it came to rabbits.
