Friendly until the bill arrives. Beware! Know that you will be charged $47.50 per hour for truck serVice even if a truck isn't needed. I had my property measured, even though I provided the owner with the complete blueprints of land and building. For this I was charged $356.00 for 7.5 hours of truck service!A truck was not necessary to carry a light measuring wheel and a few marking flags. Where the 7 hours of truck service came from is not clear.Then I was charged $912.50 for "Labor". $50.00 per hour for 18.25 hours. The measuring date was billed for 9 hours. My land is less than one acre. Honestly, there is no way that took 9 hours. Then the other 9 hours was spent on three pages (that I filled most of it out myself) that were to be turned into the Town of Boone to see if a permit was needed.Now I understand that he should be paid for hours worked, but that should be for, "HOURS WORKED", not an inflated random amount of hours to line his pocket.SO BEWARE!
