I had brought in a few stray kittens to get checked out, the vet and everyone was extremely patient with me and all my questions. I didn't feel like they were trying to make me get all these test and shots. They provide information on things I'm not sure about to read and understand.“

“I took my dog to Hopkins Road Vet today for a second opinion originally. After talking with Dr. Parks and finding out that my dog actually didn't need surgery, he also told me a couple of other things that were in my dogs records from her vet that I was never told. He reviewed her test results with me and helped me to decide the best treatment plan for her. It really touched my heart that he really seemed to care about my little "firecracker". Thank you Dr. Parks. We will see you again.

“My pets have been seeing Dr Mortensen since I moved to the area in 2015. He always handles my pets with care. I have some not so friendly pets (a big outdoor tom cat and an antisocial old boxer). Every time I come and get them, they always seem in good spirits, never scared and always happy. He's one of the few vets that will encourage a second opinion at times and the prices are very fair and they do their best to get my pets in last minute (that tom cat gets himself into trouble). I think he explains everything thoroughly and is very kind and so is his staff. I would give an extra star for their office cat, Noelle, but Google won't allow it.“

He was recently bitten by a copperhead and we had to take him to the emergency vet due to after hours, Kings animal Crossing reached out the next morning to check in on him! “My family has used this Veterinary hospital for many years for primary care. I like most of the staff that seem enthusiastic about their job and animals. I have brought up concerns with my animals that seem to be brushed off as normal but my pets have ended up with health issues that are not addressed until after seeing much worse affects. Kitten with kidney problems that were asked about months before passing. Dog with allergies with no sense in what direction we should address it. I would like if they would send an email, letter or call about reminders of appointments. Even if I missed an appointment because I'm busy with family I didn't get a notification telling me I missed the appointment. I have to reach out, I have to ask the questions to find more information about the issues, have to be proactive in scheduling my next appointment they know I should come in for but they just ask for a payment only after the appointment.“
