I’ve been going through a stressful few months and have been going through the emotions of a single 38 year old mother and haven’t felt that great about myself. They helped me unload the car, make last minute decisions, stock the bridal/groom suites, and they put out several small fires that day. All the while... they turned us into rock stars!!! “Welcoming enviornment, courteous and knowledgeable receptionist, latest equipment, talented stylists. Cheerful personnel throughout. Salon is the former home of Red Council's family. Red owned the gas station on the corner of Morganton Rd. and Broad St, a gathering spot, spotless reputation, and first choice of locals for many years. That spot is now Red's Corner with food trucks, etc. His daughters operate Salon Couture. I hesitate to recommend Andi, because she's my pedicurist and she's already very busy. She's the very best!!“

“Kayla is AMAZING at what she does. I live and work in Fayetteville where there’s a salon on every corner, but I drive an hour to SouthernPines to have her do my hair. I first went to Kayla after a terrible experience at another salon that I had visited. I scheduled a color correction with Kayla. And boy did she work her magic. She not only fixed my hair but she gave me the results that I had originally wanted. I was completely blow away by her skill. That was a few years back. But to this day I have never left her chair unhappy. Her prices are extremely reasonable and the Scheduling flexibility she’s provides for me and my crazy work schedule is priceless. “Thank you Mod Shop for seriously giving me a much needed hair upgrade!! I've had a complicated relationship with my hair my whole life. Never really knew what to do with it and tried colors that really didn't work. I also wanted more length and volume. I set up a consultation with the Mod Shop with Michelle and never looked back! From the receptionist to my stylist, I got exactly what I wanted and then some!! Michelle is a literal WIZARD ! I ended up getting extensions and they are stunning. I leave the Mod Shop feeling like Beyonce every time. The extensions have also helped my natural hair grow healthy, long, and beautiful. I wouldn't have the hair I now LOVE without them!!
