We love dental derby! Both Dr. Cangas and Dr.Lim are so great with kids. They as well as the rest of the staff go above and beyond to provide information and the best forms of treatment for your littles.
I have noticed some tx being recommended which is unnecessary (dental background here) When we were there today I asked when they started using a prophy brush on kids since we’ve always used them on kids that could handle it when I worked peds. I was told “when they are able, he’ll probably use one next time he comes.” My 2yo has been using a spin brush at home for awhile, never has any issues laying in the chair, rinsing with the suction etc so I was caught off guard on why it wasn’t used. I’m so thankful for the care, understanding, & knowledge from Dr. Cangas! My toddler recently damaged his front tooth (severed it from the root). It was really shocking to see that and I was very stressed out. I called Dental Derby immediately after it happened for advice. Even though the office was closed they were able see my son within 10-15 minutes. Dr. Cangas explained in detail everything I needed to know to make the best decision for my son. I left the office feeling a huge sense of relief and completely informed on what the next few months will look like as my son heals. I definitely recommend Dental Derby and Dr. Cangas!
