Avery Creek Kennels has been a blessing to our family. Billy Mosley is intelligent, honest, and his attention to detail is amazing. Billy and his staff truly cares about each dog, they word tirelessly to train and care for each dog. They walk the owner through the process and make sure to keep you informed on progress. As a trainer Billy gets into the dogs mind and he refuses to leave any holes in the process. We highly recommend ACR and Billy to anybody looking for a trainer for obedience or gun dog training. I have had a fantastic experience with Avery Creek Retrievers. Not only does Billy do a phenomenal job teaching your dog, he also makes it a priority to teach owners how to handle their dog so they have the best possible outcome together. Billy does a great job figuring out what each dog needs, and doesn’t just train to a formula. He understands that each dog is unique and that requires them to be trained at their own pace. Billy has trained 3 of our dogs this far and has accomplished a lot. Where some trainers may have thrown in the towel, he continues to press on with each dog and work through their quirks.
