Getting my haircut here by Master Barber Jim is always great fun. Just a pleasure to have Jim pay so much attention and treat me and his other patrons so well. I love this shop. Been getting haircuts for over 60 years, so I know a good shop when I find one!!

I found this barber shop in Sanford, NC 2 years ago on Google Maps. I met Jim there who is 80 years old. A smart man who just knows what you are looking for in a haircut. Whether you like it long or want to try something new like I did on this day, he can suss it out for you!! He gives you the haircut that YOU want, not your peers. And please do tip Jim well. He is so humble that he almost will not accept my tip any time I visit him. By the way, Jim works Fridays and Saturdays. I just love this shop!! Real old school, hometown shop like we grew up with. I've only been here twice, but I think I will continue coming for my occasional cut. The barbers are friendly and don't do a bad job either. Get some good stories from the older barber on weekends. My only complaint is that the place sometimes smells a little musty.
