Don't walk away from this hospital... RUN!!!! My mother in law didn't feel well due to constipation and decided to go to this hospital since it was local and the only option at the time. she was admitted and then passed away roughly 4-5? days later. The nurses administered Morphine to her and she is allergic to it. Staff was very rude and not approachable. there is no way in the world that she should have passed away, when simply going in for constipation. when trying to reach her on duty physician to get more clarification. they are suddenly not available. it's sad and I pray that this hospital gets shut down soon!!!!

My mother was in a serious car accident- car totaled. An ambulance picked her up in a matter of minutes and took her to this hospital. Big mistake. The hospital put her on a gurney at the front desk before moving her ia hallway for hours before she walked herself to the front desk to ask to use a phone since they wouldn't let anyone in the back and took her phone. The nurse at the desk refused to let her use a phone and referred her to her "nurse" if she needed to make a call. After hours of being in the hall they finally did their required testing only to wait again for hours. After close to 6 hours my mom asked to be unplugged since they still hadn't given the results. The doctor said she may have life threatening injuries and she shouldn't leave. Then why was she left in the hallway for hours unattended?. She's going to Duke now where she will be tended to properly.

I will not be back. Occasionally you will get a great nurse but man the bad ones ruin it for the rest. I was seen in would looked like a broom closet. Not even a bed in it. I was told kidney stones but never tested me for them. Or how big it was. The nurse told me the pharmacy store was open 24 hours. When it wasn't I called to speak to her about it. The rudest person answered the phone. Immediately told me " I can already tell you, ain't nobody going to give you nausea medicine or any medicine to go home with. You need to find a 24 hour pharmacy." Or wait until the morning. I asked to speak to the doctor directly I was told no. I could speak to her. I asked her if she would at least ask. She kept cutting me off, wouldn't listen. When I said you know nothing about my care that I received so that is why I am asking to speak to someone else that does. She replied I don't need to know about your care to tell you no. The doctor replied they don't give medicine to go home on, if I need to come back I can. Although they said I know it can be painful and your sick on your stomach. I will never be back here again. She ruined my feelings about this place. Hopefully I don't get septic again from the kidney stones.
