My dogs get excellent care there. The staff is always warm and welcoming. My vet Dr Shields is the best. She is thorough, kind and even gets down on the floor with them. I highly recommend Riverside Veterinary Hospital!!

I've been coming here for years after my cat was traumatized at another practice. Riverside went above and beyond to help us treat his anxiety so that he could receive quality routine care. He is now a healthy senior cat at 16 years old and I couldn't be happier with his care. Dr. Meacham cared for him during his thyroid cancer and helped us get through the difficult process of radiation therapy so he could be healthy and happy again. She also cares for our other two cats who are quite the behavioral challenge when they feel scared. We wouldn't consider taking them anywhere else because the care here is personal, high quality, and consistent. I feel loved by the entire staff from check in to check out. The clinic offers options for subscription and delivery services for the prescription foods and meds we need which helps a lot. Dr. Meacham has worked after hours and called me on more than one occasion to answer questions, give advice, and offer suggestions about whether or not to pursue emergency care. Two years ago the entire staff helped me care for a stray, pregnant momma cat until she delivered 4 kittens. They got her through some significant illnesses she picked up when she was abandoned by her owner. They did wellness checks on the kittens until they could be placed in safe homes. We've used the boarding services at Riverside and they are EXCELLENT. I've had so many good experiences here that I can't recount them all. If you are looking for a place to be valued as a client and for your beloved pet to be treated like a family member, you should definitely come to Riverside.

Well, let me start by saying that the vets here are great and the prices are reasonable when you compare them to other vets in the area. There was constant communication regarding my dog's health. I was never charged for anything before it was discussed with me first. They were willing to work me in without an appointment as my dog's regular vet would not accommodate me. I've never boarded my dog here and would not do so at any veterinary clinic. I prefer taking my dog to a regular kennel. I did leave a previous dog here for doggie day care and on one occasion it got bit by another dog, so I'm not doing that again. I will only let her interact with other dogs under my own supervision. I'm definitely very happy with the health care provided to my dog here and would recommend them.
