Pinehurst Surgical Clinic at Richmond Hospital

I went for an MRI today and the person who contacted me before the appt. asked if I was claustrophobic I said yes with bad anxiety. She proceeds to tell me I’ll be fine because it’s an open MRI. IT WAS NOT AN OPEN MRI! I literally thought I was going to die in that machine! I was shaking so bad, I was sweating horribly and my heart felt like it was going to beat out of my chest. I had a panic attack the entire time. I tried to focus on my breathing so I wouldn’t completely loose it and start hyperventilating uncontrollably. I thought I was going to pass out. The medical assistant Brittany and Dr. Kevin were very helpful and understanding through the whole process of my son breaking his wrist! Cannot say enough good words about the Rockingham clinic and staff!
