Exclusively going to hairstylists my entire life, I have only recently discovered the real difference between a stylist and a fine barber - "precision." A smart looking cut that will still look fresh three weeks later. Someone who is also attentive, personable and reasonably priced. All of these you will find at Westover Barber Shop. Will Summerlin gives top notch service and his shop is loaded with trinkets from the past to keep you entertained while you wait. The shop is decked out with a trio of century-old chairs complete with filigree steel. There are no appointments, it's first come, first served. However the joint is relaxing enough, sporting that old time flair, and will make you forget the hectic Hillsborough street traffic that awaits just outside the door. He cleans it up with a complimentary neck shave as well. Hands down the best hair experience of my life. I should have discovered this earlier.
