I had a scheduled mammogram at the (WakeMed) Diagnostic Center - Imaging, Lab, PreAdmission Testing - Raleigh Medical Park. I was late for my appointment while sitting in the waiting area. Lack of staff, booth 1 didn’t have a rep working, booth 2 I observed the Rep was a Hispanic gentleman take a patient then he took extremely too long to call the next patient number to his booth. I know you have to document but it’s like he was on a break at his desk. Booth 3 the African American lady she had a Patient then once she was done with her patient she went to lunch. Kristen, the mammogram technician, is the best! This is usually an uncomfortable procedure but she is always very sweet, kind & professional. Her goal is to make your appointment as comfortable as possible!

Bottom line: A pleasant and efficient experience for going to get a COVID-19 booster recently at WakeMed Raleigh Medical Park. The after-monitoring room was a bit small but other than that, a good visit overall. The Deets: I went to this location of the WakeMed campus for my second booster/fourth dose of COVID-19 vaccine. The facility was nice and clean. The security/greeter was pleasant and helpful upon entering, confirming that the vaccine clinic was located on second floor. The staff at the clinic were very positive, upbeat, helpful, and efficient. I was taken care of in quick time and with a pleasant attitude displayed by all there. For the after-vaccination holding room/area, it was notably a very small cramped room but the 3-4 of us there made the best and spaced out as best possible. Overall, a positive and pleasant experience.
