Took $14,000 from us -- and much more from others -- for forthcoming remodeling work, did not do the work, and included the money in William Tingen's personal Chapter 7 bankruptcy. Case No. 23-02079-5-PWM filed in the Eastern District of North Carolina. The company's website is still active but I would strongly caution anyone against giving Tingen Remodeling or William Tingen any money at this point.
I worked closely with Dan Tingen and his team on the other side of the business. I was a sub-contractor that performed 09900 painting and decorating. Also had the pleasure of painting Dan's personal home. Tingen construction and there team are very professional and organized.
I’ve had great communication with this company for years. They do great work and take the time to address all your questions. Homeowners are fully informed in their home building process.
