I've seen three doctors at Raleigh Neurology. Dr. Freedman, now retired, was Mr. Personality, but didn't really listen or care. He just prescribed one medicine after another. When none of them worked, he went back to the beginning of his list, and I had to remind him that I'd already tried it. He lost interest after that. Dr. Yeramsetty was the most unpleasant physician I've ever dealt with. He came across as arrogant and uncaring. Dr. Scagnelli seems genuinely nice, but it's clear that the patient is just a number. He's not going to waste his time looking at your brain MRI or doing repeat neurological exams. Scheduling is a nightmare. Expect to spend a lot of time on hold, only to be told that they can't schedule now because the schedulers aren't available and you'll have to call back, or sometimes you get the overseas call center, which is the absolute worst.

Cannot get a follow up appointment for a ridiculous amount of months. The doctor who performed a nerve conduction study was a satist. Dr Tim was not a nice person. No bed side manner.

Worst experience ever from a medical provider. They don't give a rat's ass about your medical issues and definitely don't have your best medical interests at heart. This includes the doctors, PA's or NP's, and the scheduling/billing staff. Save yourself headache and go to UNC or Duke.
