Love, love, love his studio and all of the instructors! I first went to this studio about 3-4 years ago. I liked it then but it's not real close to my home so I went to classes held in my community center which were free because of my HOA's. When I moved I had to find a new studio and remembered Blue Lotus and I am so glad that I did! The instructors are very knowledgeable and it is a very nurturing place. I have tried Vinyasa once a week and tonight I am going for the second time to a stretch and release class. My experiences have always been relaxing, challenging, and of course nurturing. It still is not the closest studio to me but well worth the drive. I might add that I am an older practitioner but have never felt out of place!
I took a Divine Dance class for the first time in decades! It incorporated modern dance moves both on your feet and hugging the floor...teacher Glenda made me fluid and energized in a beautiful way! Great space, lovely people.
First 'lemme say: I don't do yoga. However, I teach a Taoist Tai Chi class there twice a week, and I love the space! The floor is amazing, and just the energy there alone is SO positive. And the teachers/staff there are incredibly nice and kind. I'm so blessed that they allowed me to enter their space to teach tai chi. If you're interested in doing yoga, I think Blue Lotus is the premiere spot in all of Raleigh!
