My wife and I were looking to remodel our basement for an in-law suite and met John at a home show back in 2016. John was very responsive and provided a very creative and functional design for our basement suite. We really enjoyed working with both John and his wife Lina. Fast forward to the end of 2021, my wife and I decided to sell our home and purchase property to build a new home. We can not say enough about our experience with 2SL. From our first meeting it felt like a true partnership. Working with John and Lina on the design and Gretchen and Zack on the follow through of the project we always felt confident that they got our vision and then they just made it even better. And somehow the 2SL group managed to pull this off in the middle of a pandemic!We feel confident in recommending 2SL to anyone looking for truly thoughtful design and great quality in all areas of the building process.

I can’t say enough about how great it was working with 2SL! We set out to add a story to our house, and make the existing layout more usable, while staying true to the original home's coziness and charm. We saw our vision blossom in front of our eyes, and we could not be happier! No detail was overlooked nor crazy request dismissed; it felt like a true collaboration from the initial design phase all the way through to our move-in. The whole team was thorough, detailed, and offered creative solutions when necessary. We are incredibly grateful to have had this opportunity, and will have no hesitation about hiring them again for any future renovations.
