I was in misery with a cracked premolar and with radiating pain shooting up to the temple. A dentist referred me to Dr. Stella at Tar Heel Periodontics. I am a big baby but Dr. Stella along with assistants, Frank and Saran made me feel at ease from consultation to surgery and follow ups. The entire team at their different locations are friendly and professional. Some patients' reviews here may be frustrated with costs but I think there is no better investment than investing on oneself. Having a game plan is key to understanding the entire process, including financing. Wonderful location and staff! Jamie was welcoming and made me feel like I have been a patient there all my life. The staff and doctors are also very warm and friendly especially for me who is not a fan of dental work.
I'm having an incredible difficult time getting them to submit a claim to BC/BS for me. We paid over $2K upfront and requested it to be submitted to insurance. It was submitted to only dental and was denied. We requested again with follow up text (no phone answered) on 3/6th, more info and text send 3/14, (no phone answered) called again today, no answer, sent another text! Receipt lacking procedure codes, units, tax id, Dr's name and titles so I'm unable to submit on my own. Really hope this review gets to someone who can help. Care was great but this is very expensive and difficult
