Spa at Bell House

Really enjoyed the Spa at BellHouse, I was booked for a Swedish massage and my cousin got a facial. We were greeted outside and asked to complete a questionnaire and have our temperature taken. (COVID procedure) I appreciated the extra step which told me that they are taking precautions for their employees and clients benefit. I can't remember the therapist name, but she did an excellent job. The amount of pressure was just right and she checked in with me regularly to ensure that I was comfortable. It was a little different than what I'm used to (she starts the massage face up) but it was still very relaxing and stress just melted away! Really enjoyed that she wrapped my feet in hot towels and that she massaged my face scalp and ears while my feel were getting the warm towel treatment. The room was dimly lit, with soft New Age music playing in the background. Once my service was over I was able to relax in the treatment room for a few minutes without feeling rushed to get out. After I was dressed and paid up I was invited to sit out on the porch for a few minutes and enjoyed a nice glass of wine and some fruit. It was a nice and unexpected end to the experience. Though I am not from the area I have been getting massages for years and I'd say they measure up to many of the bigger city spas in service and atmosphere. One advantage over the big cities - their pricing is well below what you'd pay in Durham Chapel Hill or Raleigh for the comparable service. When I am back in the area I will definitely come here again.

My wife and I enjoyed a couples massage for her birthday. Quaint little place with old house homey feel. We were immediately offered warmed neck wraps. We went into the massage room and directed how to prepare. A few minutes later our masseuses came in quietly and began our massages. Very peaceful and relaxing. It was an enjoyable hour.

I had my first pedicure here today and was so pleased with this spa. I will certainly be returning! My pedicure was great and not rushed. If you want a relaxing experience and more attention to the health of your feet then this is your place! Highly recommend!
