Hey, I stopped by for a Sunday open-mat and experienced a great workout. Technical rolls from all partners. Black belt, Eric, was a great game of chess. All gym members from white to black belt were welcoming and sweat-inspiring. Oss.
This place is great. The camaraderie, the training, the patience, everything. Being brand new, nobody here made me feel out of place. They let you know, they were once brand new themselves. When they see you improve, even just a tiny bit, they let you know and congratulate you. It's an amazing feeling. Makes you comfortable and able to continue coming back and growing.
Great vibe. Great coach. I visited for the first time and had coach Eric. He was excellent and super nice. Eric was very low key. I'm a fan. I watched the kids wrestling class a bit prior to my class. It looked fun. The coaches seemed great. My first session back in two years since covid and was looking for something of a bit different flavor from my last school. I will be back to try it again.
