Involved haircut for my 5 y.o. son has been professional and comfortable with Morgan! He is kinda wiggly/unaware since he has only ever gotten a haircut 3x now (all Morgan) but she has successfully made a big transition to cut a TON of hair off (which was what we wanted) despite the fact that we really didn't give her much direction about a style. He had suuuper long hair which had only ever been trimmed by me once. Starting Kindergarten meant a dress code requirement to shoulder length. I was so attached to his long hair, but knew it had to be done and we found out right as school was starting.
