EXPENSIVE! We have gotten several cats neutered at Five Oaks in Kinston for a little over $200 and they are phenomenal. My daughter is getting her first pet neutered here and the cost is $540! I wanted to switch our services to Craven Animal Hospital because of location but I'll drive to Kinston because they have always done an amazing job with great prices so it literally pays to do a little research and maybe drive a little more. Five Oaks has a 4.8 in reviews so they are doing something right.

Highly recommend. Great staff and great facility. They have the capability to do a lot of stuff since they're certified AAHA. Rates are definitely competitive and much cheaper than other places we've lived. We will forever be grateful for Dr. Mel and the team who helped us for what turned out to be the last two years with our beloved dog (bone cancer). Great vets are very hard to find and Dr. Mel is wonderful.

We've had to put our 2 senior dogs down in the last 4 weeks. Craven Animal Hospital was very caring and respectful. We felt that they put our dogs first and were very professional with loads of empathy. They are busy and have lots of patients but every time they try to get us worked in to the best of their ability. The whole staff is amazing! And a special thank you to the male vet tech that has lots of tattoos - wears a ponytail- he even helped my husband clean the truck some when our dog had an accident on the way there. I really appreciate Craven Animal Hospital!
