About Hollywood Nail
Hollywood Nail is a salon known for its friendly atmosphere and personal attention. The couple that owns the business is sweet and accommodating, often willing to help clients even close to closing time. However, some customers have experienced issues, such as painful nail treatments and the inability to do nail designs. Additionally, the salon's cash-only policy and higher prices, like $65 for a gel pedicure, have left some clients hesitant to return. Overall, the experience can vary, with both positive and negative aspects noted by visitors.
The staff are friendly. The service was okay. The space needs updating in terms of decor and lighting. They were attentive and polite.
Cleanliness: Needs updated decor, lighting, and cleaning. There was dusty plastic decor. It's dimly lit in areas.
The owner was very kind. Unfortunately she was not able to do any designs so I just got a basic dip nail. But she drilled my original nails so low it was very painful. I wanted to leave at that point but I didn’t want to leave with my nails in that condition. When she finished they were nice. But I will not go back.
The salon was empty the day I went in and I was the only person there, so I got lots of personal attention and a very very friendly mail tech who works there. I didn't give it five stars as they require cash and I had to go to the store and get cash and that should be posted and it's not. Also, it was very expensive to pay $65 for a pedicure with gel! That alone will keep me from going back because I usually don't have to pay more than 45 for a gel pedicure.
