My Boston Terrier’s are existing patients for several months and have experienced nothing short of wonderful service. All of the Veterinarians and Techs are caring , loving and listen to you regarding concerns and provide clear discharge instructions. The ONLY ISSUE-MAJOR ISSUE I have is with a newer employee “Ashley”. She is beyond rude, when you ask a question regarding one of my pets, she will cut me off mid-sentence and won’t listen to the question at hand. When I try to stop her so she can hear my question she becomes ignorant and snippy. When coming to the clinic I dread seeing her at the front desk, she exudes an uncomfortable oura to me that is unacceptable.... read full review
I moved back from Midland to Monroe and needed a local vet so I asked for recommendations on a FB post and SVAH was the overwhelming winner and I know why now.
My cat, Monkey had run off for WEEKS and came back in terrible shape and she didn't have an appetite which was NOT like her. Dr. Rios instantly recognized that she had fatty liver disease from not eating enough when she ran away (she lost too much weight to quickly which is very bad for cats). Dr. Rios explained what her odds were (not good) but I tried to bring her back from the brink. She did not do well over the next couple of days and got worse. We found a kitten under our trash can in the rain. Sun valley animal hospital was the only vet that could see us that day. They were super busy but kind and helped us assess the little guy. He’s been back for his 8 week appointment and is doing great! The two doctors we have seen so far have been knowledgeable and friendly and so has the staff.
