Today we visited Jody’s barbershop to get my sons haircut. I’m not going to lie, I get a little nervous trying new places because my son has a lot of energy and at times, big emotions. The moment we walked in, I could tell my son felt comfortable. He saw another younger kid getting his haircut and Jody welcomed him in with kind words. It didn’t take long at all but I think my son might’ve found his new best friend. Jody made my son laugh and have a good time during the entire haircut. We love the big boy cut and now I’m pretty sure we found the perfect barber for our little guy.Thank you Jody!Service: Kids' cuts

It's hard to put into words how much the angels at Yellow Butterfly have touched my life; they were there to help me take care of Mom in her final months and hours of life with the biggest hearts, and I will miss them greatly. Chasity and her crew are truly in the right field with compassion and great attention to the needs of their clients. Thank you all so much, beautiful Yellow Butterfly angels!
Mike and Tami did an exceptional job caring for our dog, Portia. As an extra large girl, they made sure she’d be comfortable. Definitely recommend this kennel and the owners.
Jansal is by far one of the best barns I have ever had the privilege of riding at! Janelle is so nice, and an amazing instructor. From lesson number one, I was immediately a part of the team, even though I am not showing yet. Everyone is super uplifting and they give constructive criticism without being mean. I plan to ride here for a very long time!
I called about needing a suit dry cleaned for the next day. The staff person in the shop assured me, on the phone and in person when I dropped the clothes off, that it would be delivered the following evening to my home. The following evening, the suit was not delivered. Thankfully, I was able to reach someone via Google, and he kindly brought the suit out first thing the following morning. I’m happy with how the situation was resolved.
Lisa is wonderful with our dogs, and our dogs love staying with her at Cedar Grove Kennels. I recommend this place to everyone!
I have been taking my fur baby Toby to TLC for awhile now. I love the care that everyone gives Toby he isn't afraid like other places I started out taking him. I highly recommend TLC for your fur babies care Tosha is great at what she does.
My daughter and I had the pleasure of booking the upstairs guesthouse during our river rock / gem mining trip to the area. It was a perfect place for two people.Both bedrooms were very comfortable and accommodating. There were tons of antiques to look at, along with wifi and Netflix in both bedrooms.Priscilla provided us with cookies, coffee, coffee creamer (a rarity in most airbnbs), and all kitchen utensils to make our stay stress free. It's clear that she thinks about her guests needs, and was proactive to ask if we needed additional towels when we started running out.The beds were more comfortable than most hotels, with a touch of class.Having morning coffee on the front porch felt like a walk back to a simpler time. It was the perfect start to the day.If you are visiting the area, this is where you want to stay.

Took our daughter to get her hair braided by Andrea while we were in the area visiting family this week. Her hair came out beautiful and everyone there was super sweet. The massage chairs while you get your hair washed were great, and the salon is very clean too! ? ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Darlene did an amazing job on my hair that hadn’t had any love in over a year. The salon was very clean and staff were friendly. Great atmosphere. Darlene was very attentive to my ideas and provided excellent feedback on how to help my hair. Would highly recommend this salon!!!

Debbie is FANTASTIC!!I had not taken very good care of my hair and was losing hair after using Bath & Body Works hair products because of the amazing smell. Now, my hair is in such better condition with her vast knowledge of hair and scalp anatomy and treatments! I use Kevin Murphy products, and to my surprise, they smell even more amazing than B & BW and last so much longer! She is truly a hair therapist, aka Hairapist!!

Had an old retaining wall removed and replaced, plus a few other projects, everything was done in a week. The new wall and all other projects are better than I could have ever dream of. Excellent work, they keep you updated thought the whole process. Highly recommended.

Staff is friendly and welcoming. Had a cleaning today. Hygienist was very thorough and professional. No pain or discomfort. She did an excellent job. Dentist consult went on without a hitch. Won’t find a nicer staff anywhere.

In January of 2024, Banjo was in an accident that resulted in her hind leg being injured. Banjo kicked through the tin on the side of my barn. Her hind leg at the cannon bone was tore wide open. The bone and tendon showed through. Dr. Klein assisted me when I first brought Banjo to the hospital. She was amazing and very supportive, as I was a mess. The injury to Banjos leg was severe, and resulted in her staying at Davie County Large Animal Hospital for a week. She already had an infection running through her body by the time I got her to the hospital. She received non-stop vet care from the team. After a week in the hospital, Dr. Castro had to perform surgery to close her leg back up. The surgery went great and her leg looked amazing. After getting to come home with proper vet care instructions to further care for her leg, she was stalled. After a few days, it busted open. This was a mess. I called Dr. Castro and the team immediately. I transported her back to the hospital, and we worked out a plan of care. Everyone on the team provided amazing care to Banjo. I was seeing Dr. Castro, and his team every two weeks for months. Every time I came in, they made sure Banjo was taken care of. Every time I called to ask a question or was concerned, the team always provided an answer to my question. I could not have done this without them. After 7 long months of continuous vet care, Banjo made a full recovery with no lameness issues.

My Sampson doesn't like to go but there is a young guy there that is super nice and makes my dog comfortable while they're trimming his nails. I actually saw the vet tech while out and he was very friendly to me even while away from the office!
We recently moved to the area and had an emergency situation with our Doberman. Not only did they get us in immediately, everyone was extremely friendly. Dr Emmadi was able to quickly identify the problem for our dog and treat it. He was thorough and we were still in and out of there in no time. Our dog started showing positive improvements within hours of leaving the vet. I would highly recommend this practice.
