Loved the haircut I got from chat two weeks ago-- looked great then still looks great now after growing out more. Short on the sides, longer on top, some nice fading, solid beard trim-- very professional, and I highly recommend him. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and all the guys in there were chill and kind. Had a solid conversation with Chad too, he's a strikes me as a really good guy. I have been struggling finding a reliable barber in the Charlotte area. After reading the great reviews about Standing Ovation Barber Shop I booked an appointment online which was very easy. Very transparent on their pricing too. I booked an appointment with KJ. I went there today and I was greeted and sat at the chair at the time I booked. After I explained what I wanted, I felt that it was the first time here in the US that I was not rushed and KJ started giving me my haircut. I did not grow up with the barbershop experience, but this establishment makes me look forward to when it's time to get my hair cut. It's not so much my hair that I go for, it's the beard. The guys here are true, steady handed artists with facial hair. While most establishments won't offer this service, Standing Ovation seems like they proudly offer it. Classic barber razors and warm face wrap towels. It truly is a classic and relaxing experience. There is also always relevant and great conversation occurring. The gentlemen here conduct their profession in such a way that it is obvious they enjoy what they do. Making every experience great.
