H&M does beautiful, durable work that will last a lifetime. Every time we enter or leave our home, we get the pleasure of seeing—and hearing—their craftsmanship. The hardwood door they built feels as solid as steel and clicks satisfyingly tight when pulled closed.Further, the customer service John delivered was just as noteworthy as the quality of the door. He always arrived on schedule and personally communicated throughout the building process; sending pictures of each stage without being asked to do so. Everyone at H and M was amazing to work with. John Daniel and I worked together to design custom bookcases, cabinet fronts and a mantle for our renovation. The craftsmen are true artist with a great attention to detail which can be seen in the pieces they made for us and we could not be happier!!!

I recently contacted John Daniels at H& M Woodworks regarding a restoration project involving a small 18th Century North Carolina house. I needed some period appropriate window sash and an exterior door. John and his fine team of artisans built for me just what I needed, and I could not be more pleased. His company is very professional, courteous, honest, and produce work of the highest caliber.
