Best Nail Salons In Locust

“I needed a haircut asap for an emergency trip I had to take. I called Belize and within 1 hour a hairdresser had called and could take me at 3pm! The cut I received by Vonda Brown was one of the best! I was relaxed, loved the cut and felt it was the best hair experience I ever had!!! Go Belize!! The cost was extremely reasonable for what I had done and will be returning when I get back in town.

“R A Nails was my first time in a local nail salon since moving to Locust. My old standby nail salon was in Concord and I just didn’t feel like traveling in traffic to get my nails done. I’m glad I had a friend to recommend this place to try out. R A Nails was open and inviting and I was nicely addressed as soon as I walked in. My wait was short and I was surprised because they seemed to be busy with several other clients. They had several options for my pedicure and manicure. I had my first jelly pedicure which included the hot stones and massage. If you haven’t tried it out, I would recommend it for the pampered experience!

The only improvement I would recommend is if you’re looking for eyebrow waxing without any arching, then RA Nails is for you. I personally prefer some arching since I have thick eyebrows, but I guess I wasn’t specific enough because I couldn’t find any arches, lol. I feel the stylist should just ask and confirm what the client wants when greeting the client.

Cleanliness: The salon was very clean and had a pleasant aroma. I also appreciated the chais were comfortable with wider seats for the “blessed backside”, lol

Stylist: My stylist name is Wilson and he did an excellent job. I felt completely at ease and never rushed through the process. He took very good care of me, confirmed what he did and had my approval the entire time, paid attention to detail, and kept me engaged in a pleasant, productive, professional conversation. I will definitely continue to have Wilson as my stylist!“

“I went in to get my acrylic taken off. I previously got my nails done elsewhere and the overlay wasn't done well so I needed them taken off. Upon entering I was greeted and assisted. I waited about 5 mins and was seated for service. The nail tech I had was very friendly and helpful. The acrylic I had on was thick and stubborn to take off but my tech was patient, taking her time to take it off without damaging my nails. After plenty of rounds of soaking and removing layer by layer my nails were back to natural. She shaped them for me and applied nail hardener. I was pleased with my service and will return when I'm ready to get my nails done again. Since I didn't get my nails done I didn't give 5 stars since I'm not sure how that service is yet.“
