My daughter's father had pre-paid for a cremation, grave side service and left 50 dollars toward his obituary many years ago.
Sat May 4th he died in a tragic car accident. It would be Monday before Greer received the body. The attendant on the phone was extremely nice. She made sure to return my call, informing me of the prepayment he had made in detail. She even let me know that he was viewable but since being cremated, would be covered with only his head visible should our daughter wish that final goodbye. Made many mistakes because of carelessness. Failure to use basic skills most learn before or in elementary school such as listening, comprehension, organization, checking your work. Never seen such an unprofessional group of funeral directors.

Do not use. Zero customer service acumen here, no compassion and unprofessional in what should be the highest customer service industry in existence. Facilities are aging and becoming run down. Your essentially paying thousands of dollars for a 'ticket' for your loved one's final ride. You should expect nothing but the best service possible in what is a difficult time. We only used because there was old family history here but the extended family agreed not to use moving forward after our experience. There is another funeral home located in Lenoir that has good reviews that actually helped us out last minute for no charge on an issue that Greer didn't seem to care about....read full review
