She sought to better understand my customer service experience and thoroughly addressed my questions related to her services. I was very impressed with my direct interaction with her. She mentioned that she spoke to her staff to investigate my customer experience and seemed to genuinely care about my initial encounter with her business. I am grateful that she took time to follow up with me directly, she was a delight.I appreciate all the great reviews about this company. It led me to reach out this morning but unfortunately I had a very different experience. I was excited to call this woman owned business using my most chipper voice after reading all the positive reviews but they told me they would not be able to assist me even though according to their website they should have been able to. The person who answered the phone (Kayla) adamantly told me they would not assist me without even offering to better understand my reason for reaching out.It was a weird experience. Here is a quote from their website, "We offer a free consultation where we listen to your tax issue with compassion in a judgement free atmosphere. We understand life happens and that sometimes tax issues area part of the journey!" Kayla would not listen to my question. I told her that the website indicated they provide consultations and based on the services offered, I was reaching out to the right place. She told me she did not know what I was talking about in terms of consultations and that they would not be able to help me. Oh well, I will move on to someone else. They are seemingly not lacking for business. Somehow, they did not provide the great customer experience everyone else seems to express in their reviews. I wanted to make sure to chime in with my experience.This woman owned business which advertises great customer experiences certainly made a bad first impression on me despite all the great reviews prior to reaching out. I have a track record of writing positive reviews and wish this could have been one of them but somehow this encounter missed the mark in a major way.“

“Ms Alesha Tuggle of A1 Financial Services was incredibly awesome throughout the process of filing our tax return. She shared information with us on what to expect with how the government's stimulus payments processing had priority over processing everyone’s tax returns this year. She stayed in constant contact with us to provide status updates on both our Tax Return and Stimulus payment. Also she addressed any of our concerns to ensure that we felt comfortable and at ease with the pace of the process. Everything went just like she said. We are also very happy that Ms Tuggle has the knowledge needed to handle our particular situation of no longer living in NC. “I wanted give Kudos to Patti Craven at the Wendell, NC H&R Block office. I had an issue with my 2024 Federal return and wasn't sure which way to turn after I got the letter from the IRS but since I had used HRB's self-filing software I decided to pay her a visit and man, she took care of the issue quickly with professionalism. In spite of her being in the middle of doing corporate returns she MADE the time to help me......nothing against HRB's customer service but I KNOW if I had to rely on them this issue would still be unresolved.

I cannot overemphasize the sense of relief I had when I left her office. And KNOWING that she is LOCAL, in Wendell, cannot be overstated. You just can't buy that kind of feeling of security knowing that someone is there, in the town where you live, available to answer questions, SOMEONE THAT YOU CAN TRUST.
