This is an unusual review, and I never do reviews. I had a crown done and was quoted a price. When the procedure was complete I paid in full. A few weeks later I got an additional bill for over $300. I went in to find out why. I was not angry, but I was very firm with the receptionist. She was kind, and sweet, desiring to help even though we both could not fully understand what was the underlying cause for the added charge other than the insurance company reimbursed less than they were initially expected to. So my first point is, Parkstone has good front office people working for them who don't get flustered or aggressive when a patient has a complaint. in following up with my insurance company it turns out that I was new coverage and for the first year they only reimburse 20% rather than 50% and that was the reason for the added fee, something not disclosed when the original quote was established. So, I came away knowing Parkstone was not inflating the bill and the underlying issue was the coverage conditions that both they and I were unaware of. Finally, the dentist and his assistants were top-notch on all fronts, fast, friendly, professional, etc. They took me on the day I called with the cracked tooth, did the temp crown that same visit, and the final crown fit perfectly two weeks later. The bottom line, I highly recommend Parkstone.
If there’s one appointment I never miss, it’s my dental, and it takes a lot to keep me coming back. I’ve been with Parkstone since moving to Knightdale 3 years ago and they are hands down the best. Kind, caring, and incredibly gentle, and they only recommend what’s truly necessary. If you’re in Knightdale or anywhere on the east side of Wake Co, you’ve got to give them a try. I can’t recommend them enough!!
