“If you are reading this, you have a pet you love and understand how important it is to have a veterinarian you trust. I have had two devastating experiences with my dogs in recent years that were made easier because of my knowledgable, compassionate vet. The first was bringing a new Irish setter home only to have him become very ill within days. I found Doctor Connie through my breeder friend, after calling another vet who had never heard of HODs, a rare autoimmune disease in large breeds, that my poor, unlucky puppy had. Doctor Connie listened, researched and called me on her off time throughout the long, relatively experimental treatment process. She went way over and beyond expectations! I'm not an easy dog owner. I do my own research, have many theories and opinions! She made me feel heard and I know I must have been annoying!! My puppy is a healthy 4 year old thanks to her! 2 days ago I brought my 12 year old to her, fearing the worst as he stopped eating and was dehydrated and could barely walk by the time we saw her. She LISTENED, offered me a plan to diagnose. Explained her reasoning. Listened patiently to all my, probably stupid, questions and considered my financial situation and feelings on treatment goals. 3 1/2 hours later my dog was feeling more comfortable but his diagnosis was bleak. But I knew I could trust Dr. Connie. I left her office able to just focus on loving my boy, knowing we were giving him the best! He deteriorated very quickly and despite all efforts I had to bring him back to let him go. And you all know it's never easy but my baby was loved on by the staff and his passing was as peaceful as can be. As difficult as loss is, because of Doctor Connie and her loving, efficient staff, I can at least take comfort knowing my baby boy had the best care there can be and was loved right up till the very end. She may be hard to get in to see sometimes but that's because she's the best and takes her time with her clients!! Once you have her take care of your baby, you'll never need to question if you could have done more for your beloved pet!“

“Dr. Hummel is kind and caring and attentive to our needs. You can always tell her dedication to the pets. I’ve taken all of my pets to her for the last 15 years or so. She’s makes sure all questions are answered and that you feel confident with everything.
