Northside Animal Hospital provides a nice, caring, and patient atmosphere. The staff is amazing, super patient, friendly, helpful, and understanding. They listen, answer all questions, and treat animals with kindness and respect. The veterinarian is awesome, wonderful, and hands down the greatest. He sincerely cares about patients' welfare and is after more than the mighty dollar. The team takes animals right in and gets them straightened out. Experience is a best choice for fur babies. Many clients recommend them highly and come for all veterinary needs.
Dr. Shafer has a wonderful staff! My dogs are always excited to go see the ladies and Mr Melvin, even my scared little guy. We know when we leave our babies at Dr Shafer’s office they are in the care of exceptional people! Even at 45 minutes away I will not go anywhere else! 💜
Dr Shaver was recommended by 2 people i know after a horrible experience with a different Veterinarian. My girl needed nails cut and staples removed that were way past due for removal. I have a very limited fixed income. They did everything she needed for a unbelievably low price. Everyone was professional and knowledgeable. I will be back!

Our dog has had problems with anal glands. Our regular vet kept giving us the run around and we had spent alot of money and still problem not fixed. Dr shaffer and staff took him right in and got him straightened out. They seem to care about their patients.
