Ryan did an AMAZING job on the remodeling of our Nags Head home. We called to get estimates, he came right away, took measurements and within a couple of days, we had our estimates. In 2020, he replaced all decks (4 total), remodeled our entire kitchen, and put down LVP on the entire main level. In 2022, he replaced the outside vinyl siding with smart board and painted it. He also remodeled three bathrooms. In 2023 he removed the majority of the popcorn ceilings and painted the inside of the house. We look forward to having him complete more work next year. We feel confident in any and all work he does and completely trust his suggestions with upcoming projects. He takes the time to explain what he's doing and when he ran into issues (termite damage), he provided pictures and gave us solutions. Over the past year OBX Plumbing has replaced all of my pipes from the street all the way through to my new bathrooms. I unfortunately had polybutylene pipes from the 80's. The Guys showed up on time, worked quickly kept the work place clean. Very respectful of my home and time. Highly recommend OBX Plumbing! It's beyond difficult to find reliable, dependable professionals here in the Outer Banks, so thankful we found OBX Plumbing.

Searched for a veteran owned/operated barber shop for when I moved to the area in a few months. Man I couldn’t have hit the nail on the head any better if I tried. Friendly from the moment I walked in the door. With the added benefit of an adorable pup to greet you. This will definitely be my barber when I move. Great experience and great cut. Was even offered crayons for a snack while waiting. As a Marine that’s an appreciated amenity. (Hope your claim gets expedited as fast as possible)

Always quick, efficient, and clean! It is nice to go in on Sundays as most places are closed. I loved seeing the owner's little 4 year old daughter helping customers and chatting. My pedicure always lasts awhile too and doesn't chip.

I am so pleased with Dimensions Hair Salon. When we moved to the OBX three years ago I had difficulty finding a stylist who was experienced working with grey hair but a neighbor mentioned Heather Clark. She is absolutely wonderful and I enjoyed every visit since.
I love this company! Mike McGee was very responsive and got us on the schedule as soon as he could. Sam and Malcolm were our plumbers for the job and they made sure to call and text us any details about the job and walked us all the way through it. They were amazing!

One thing is always guaranteed on the OBX. Contractors and tradesman are always busy. So when I called R.Blivens Plumbing to see if they'd received my panicked late night message, I was thrilled to hear the tech was already in his truck and en route. Day saved, shower valve replaced, water turned back on. Story over. Blivens's ROCKS.
I first used Action Plumbing a little over a year ago when I arrived at my home in Corolla to no hot water. Mike arrived and confirmed that the hot water heater had finally given out but said it had a good run. He was back the very next morning, as promised, to install 2 new hot water heaters.
Fast forward to today, I had an appointment for low water pressure. I was lucky enough to get Mike again. He was knowledgeable and professional in his findings. Once shower heads were removed, the water pressure was as it should be. Since the fixtures were original to the house, there was likely a lot of buildup so we replaced the shower heads. Everything is working exactly as it should and we couldn’t be happier that it was an easy fix.
Because of Mike’s kindness, level of knowledge and professionalism, we will only use Action Plumbing going forward. Both times it has been 5-star service!!

I truly cannot thank Phoenix Restoration (Pat, Rick, and entire team) for helping us after a house fire. They were extremely professional, timely, advocated for their customers, and helped to guide me through the entire insurance process. We had no delays or issues, and were back in our house in less than 3 months after extensive damage. They were extremely responsive and understood the stress we were under. I’m 50! I have NEVER been to a chiropractor!! I hurt my back picking up my dog in bed for 2 days. My cousin told me about this place. I went not being able to sit or stand I was in so much pain I went and 10 minutes later I felt like a new person. I got back again this week.

Dr Flynn cares about his patients and community. I have been to other chiropractors ghat make you feel like cattle. Everyone should have Chiropractic Care. It's not about your back specifically since nerves to your whole body run through your spine. Dr Flynn is very knowledgeable.
Got treated as a guest for my friend's birthday for facials and massages. Walked out feeling like a million bucks. The staff was so calm and pleasant. Smelled very pretty in there. Would love to go back. I'm so terrible with names but I think one of the girls was Mary. Omg, the facial, her hands were so insanely soft it was absolutely phenomenal. I kept calling her kitty softpaw from the movie Puss in Boots?❤️
I woke up on vacation and thought it might be a nice day to get a massage. Dave was able to get me in with Gabrielle the same day! I’ve had a lot of massages in my life so I have a large basis of comparison and this was the BEST massage I’ve ever had. I may need to make a special trip just to see Gabrielle.
My massage with Gara was everything I hoped it would be and more! I started experiencing severe neck pain while trying to de-stress on vacation. The OBX team was able to get me in with 24 hours notice, and from the moment I walked in, I knew I was in the right place. Gara made me feel at home and we were able to talk through how she could best help me relieve pain and enjoy the rest of my vacation. I can’t thank her enough!
