Customer beware the customer service is terrible. Â I recently found out that the location I use closed down. Â The other 2 locations are inconvenient to where I work and live so I asked how to cancel. She told me to go to the website and request it. At this point I am upset that they never sent out an email or phone call about the location closing but just request the cancellation. A week goes by and I hear nothing so I call again and the girl tells me that it hasn't been cancelled yet but its ok cause your gonna get charged for the next month anyways you have time. So I joined the most expensive level 1 membership at the end of January. At that point in time I paid a start up fee and the rest of the fee for the month of January. As the months went by my account was charged the first of every month for that month. I was told that after 3 months you can cancel AT ANY TIME. By April I was ready to stop tanning. At which point I had already paid for the month of April. So I went in to cancel and was told it was cancelled. Now it is May and my account has been charged yet again. My experiance with Ilsand Tan was not great at all. They do this system where you havd to become a member to tan, and then they make it impossible to stop tanning when you want to take a break from it. I sent a request to have my account frozen durring a month that i was home and they still charged my account. I called mulitple times and I talked to a very ignorant lady who told me that I would not be able to get a refund even though i followed their procedure of freezing my account. And on top of all that when i told her to just cancle my membership she couldnt do that, so I have to print out a form and email it in.
